suzuki 115 trim/tilt problem

my trim/tilt will lower under battery only power, but not go up. I checked the motor side switch and it work correctly. I checked battry voltage and ran a load test on them and they are fine. I started up the engine and tried again and no luck, then I increased the RPM's and was then able to trim/tilt up? Any ideas on what may be going on?

My brushes got stuck once, tapping the side of the tilt motor made it work since this vibration made the brushes move, revving your motor may cause enough vibration for the brushes to move.

I am haveing a similar issue. Did you even get a audible click or noise or just nothing? I am have nothing BUt the down works no problem the up gives me nothing.

Check the trim sensor.
