low oil light on

The low oil light flashes. Checked oil and just barely under full mark. Add a little to full but light still flashing. Is there a reset to do for the light to go off? thanks

If it is a 2stroke then the sensor maybe bad, if 4stroke then yes you have to reset the oil light.

same thing on my 200DF

oil light blimks suddenly on starboard engine. Oil is fuel and clear. My mechanic check its oil pressure and it turns out to have normal pressure. He says he going to put a mechanical bypass the sensor in the engine so it won't trigger false alarm to its warning light at ignition switch??? I see your solutionhere is just a simple reset.

Let me know how to reset it.. and if it clear.. I need another mechanc then..

Yes, the light will come on durring regardless if their is an issue or not. Turn the on, pull the safety lanyard out, and then pull the safety button out twice.
