1990 dt75 sounds noisy

I just purchased a 1990 dt75 for $675.00. Motor has 150 psi compression and fires right up. It sounded a little noisy by crankshaft when running on muffs. Took it to the lake and it sounds like a main bearing to me.Motor never skips a beat,but seems to knock or rap. I s this typical.I am new at outboards but have been a snomobile and motorcycle mechanic for years.Any suggestions would be appreciated.There is a knick in prop ,could this have done something inside to make noise when motor is running in neutral?

If you are hearing a noise at idle in nuetral, then chances are it will need new bearings. I recommend replacing before more damage occurs causing larger bill.
