  • Mystery Air Jet DT40

New to the forums. This seems like agood place to ask this question. I am rebuilding my carb off a 1987 DT40. I noticed a threaded hole which looks like a adjustment screw went there but there was nothing. I bought a rebuilding kit for it and installed it when I noticed this. I did not take anything out of it. The shop manual has a picture of it (#13)and says it's an air jet, but none of the schematics on the net show anything. Question is, is there suppose to be anything in there?

Thats the main air jet, no adjustment screw, just make sure it's clear by spraying carb cleaner through it, the spray will exit into the chamber that houses the emulsion tube/main jet.
