Just dropped the gearbox off my DF140 and the driveshaft bushing crumbled out and it looked and smelt like someone dropped an ashtray in there!
The midsection housing is in good condition apart from the bush housing. I have read some older threads about people leaving these out. Obviously they only commented on a few months of running.
Wondering if anyone has done some serious hours with the bushing left out? How did they run? Any issues?
