  • Change of control box - wiring doesn't match

    Hi all,

I'm hoping that someone can help me figure this out. I have a DF 115 -07 with a side mounted control box (Suzuki), ignition and killer switch built in. I bought a top mounted control box on eBay, with a separate ignition/killer switch. Both are Suzuki OEM parts.

Here's the dilemma: the colors on the new control box doesn't match the old control box, nor the main harness coming from the engine. I was hoping to get some help on this.

This is how the current control box connects with the main wiring harness:

Main harness - current control box

Pink (possibly faded orange) - orange
    Black - black
    White - white
    Brown - brown
    Blue/white - blue
    Green - green
    White/red - white red
    Grey - grey

These are the colors of the cables coming from the new control box:

    Brown
    Brown
    Blue
    White
    Red

From the ignition/killer switch connected to the new control box:

    Red/white
    Black
    White
    Green
    Orange

There's also a green/white and a black/white that runs to the killer switch. Worth mentioning is that the ignition switch only came with an on/off function built in, so I bought a separate starter button since the ignition switch doesn't have it built in (althought it it Suzuki OEM part).

I'd really appreciate it if someone could help me with how to install the new top mounted control box.

    Thank you very much!

Unfortunately the control box you have order will not work with your engine. The one you ordered is for a digital shift motor (DF300).
