conchycat servicing water pumps

when I rebuild the water pumps with a kit, on df suzuki 140 motors,does the water pump impeller,housing or plate require any lubrication like silicon grease for assembly or break in. thanks for any tips. The service manual dose not mention any lubricants.....conchycat
