I have a 1987 Suzuki DT150 with cracked linkage in the shift assy. Parts no longer available new. I'm looking for a source for good used.
It apears that the clutch/shift linkage parts were identical for 1987-1988 then changed in 1989 and stayed constant through late 90's.
Second problem is that we are not clear yet whether or not we are going to be able to pull the shaft for the prop because it is frozen into the gearcase housing. I 'may' have to replace the lower unit. (Ouch). Again, as I understand it, the lower unit is the same from 87 - ~88 except for the length of the shift components. This would have to be shipped to Portland Oregon.
It also appears that the lower unit on these were the same for the base models of the DT150, 175 and 200 for model years 87 -~ 88 except for the clutch/shift parts as noted above. If anyone knows otherwise, I'd love to know.
