Oil leak

Hi, My 2000 4 stroke Suzuki 25hp started dripping oil late last summer. It seemed to be coming from high on the motor and dripping down into the water. I checked the filter for tightness and the fill plug also. Looking at the schematic it shows an under oil seal below the flywheel and also the seal for the crankshaft. I'm a machinist and can do some stuff myself so I'm wondering if anyone has replaced either of these seals? The first seal seems very doable but not sure of the second. And would anyone know which one is most likely bad. Is this best left for a mechanic and how much would a job like this cost?

Check oil level, may be overfull and blowing oil out crankcase vent.
