where should the Serial Number be

Hi All

I'm restoring my fathers outboard, which runs but needs a birthday.

I know it is a 9HP model, cover is white (with siver trim)

the engine is a twin with pre-mixed oil.

where should the Serial number be please

Should be on motor transom bracket.

other than 'made in japan' there is nothing on the unit.

any idea what oil ratio I should use?

50:1 ratio should be just fine.
