Gentlemen,
This motor runs very well. I pulled the foot off and found that the tube was cracked when I was doing a waterpump renew. Also the pee tube just sometimes flows. The suzi dealer ordered me a tube and it was too long, so I just patched the tube with epoxy. I talked to a suzi dealer and he said that the jacket was shedding flakes of aluminum and it was blocking the pee tube.
He told me to blast compressed air up the pee tube and it would clear. It does... for about 10 minutes.
Any suggestions? I'm pulling the foot off tommorrow or the next day.

I recommend after you have removed the foot, to blow the water system out with compressed air. Would not hurt to remove the thermostats and clean those passages as well.

Thanks sir. My daughter and I are going to take a spin to see if the pump is still working. This little motor is a strong mule... I like it. I wonder if there is anything we can do to eliminate this "scale" shedding issue. Our local Suzuki dealer told me that he could take the motor apart at my $$ peril to take all of this scale out... but will it not come right back?

There is a product available called Salt Away to use with flushing motor, might help clean water passages.
