Control Cable Cover

I just purchased a 2011 center console with a DF250 on it. The conduit looking sleeve that covers all conections to the outboard is broken all the way around right before the motor. Service manager at dealership told me it was a major undertaking to change this because all connection would have to be disconnected from motor and re-routed back through and reconected. I just don't like the looks of it, and worry about salt water working its way in.

Would need to disconnect cables, wiring and hoses to replace rigging tube.
