2012 DF90 Trim Sending Unit

I am trying to see if it is possible to adjust the trim sending unit so it displays properly on my trim gauge. The gauge works, it just starts in the middle when trimmed down and only uses half the gauge, so i'd like to center it. Is it possible to trim the Suzuki trim sender and if so, how do you do it? Thanks.

Unfortunately there is no notes on adjusting the trim sender in the manual. Usually they are sloted so when you lossen the retaining bolt the sender can be rotated to compensate.
