Suzuki 150hp 2 cycle oil injection problem

On a recent fishing trip my 2002 Suzuki 150hp 2 cycle outboard was running great. I throttled back and then when I advanced the trottle the motor began running very rough with considerble blue smoke from the exhaust. Additionally the chk engine light started beeping on the control panel. I shut the engine down and restarted and it still ran rough with the chk engine light. I started it up in the driveway today and the motor starts fast but runs rough with a lot of blue smoke from the exhaust. It appears I getting too much oil being injected in the motor. What's the best way to fix this?

i never had to work on the auto feed oil system but most likely a bad sensor telling it to keep adding oil

read the check engine blinking code to find the faulty sensor
