Suzuki DT 200 wont start when hot?

Hi I have just bought a boat with a Suzuki DT 200 HP on the back i think its a 1998.

It has just been serviced. It starts first time when cold but when its been running even for a few min it won't start for about 40 min. It seems the starter moter is geting very very hot even though it starts quickly from cold. Until the starter motor cools down it wont re-start????

Any ideas?

Give the starter a birthday if it getting hot like that sound like it needs a service .

what is the earth like on the starter clean?

Their is some rust on the screw but the connection seems good and clean. Looks like a new starter i think?

Sounds like they guy who owned it before you burned up one starter already. And your heading in the same direction. Wonder what kind of idiot just serviced that boat (friggin jerk) .

I would take it back to the guy you bought it from and make that idot fix it right or pay for it. If he sez's no you should bust him up. If you need some extra muscle let me know.
