DF 70 will not idle

DF 70 will not idle. 2001 400 hours,

I have to advance to a high idle to get a start and then jam it into gear before it stalls. It acts "cold natured" for a good description.

To try to address this I have put in new plugs, cleaned th fuel system and checked for water. All was good there with no leaks in the system either.

After she start and I manage to get it in gear it runs great.

Have the Idle control valve checked, check for air or vacumn leaks.
