Looking for a part,DT75
Just ran across this site today as I was looking for a part for my 1987 DT75. It has been a very good motor with only 2 problems in 23 years. Twice I broke off the propeller shaft outside of the lower unit. I run the hell out of this motor which is mounted on a 15'6" center console I had built out of an old bass boat.
Anyway,just short of buying a used complete lower unit, I been looking for just the prop shaft. Anybody have a lead on one? I live in Louisiana and they just reopen the inside fishing due to the oil spill and I really need to get this fixed ASAP before they close the fishing up again.
