Default Lower case DT-225

I heated up the brand new transmission case from Suzuki. I put the forward bearing race into the freezer. Then I tapped the race down into the case with the spacer ring. But now the race is loose and spins in the case. Is there any way to tighten the race up? Or does it matter if it moves a little bit? Any help or suggestions are appreciated.

Default Lower case for DT-225

Mitch, No it is a tapered bearing. It is just like what you would find on a car (wheel bearing),but 3 X the sizes. The race was tight going in but now it is set at the bottom its loose ! The pic. that shows the parts has a ball bearing, but this one is not the same. it is a 2003 DT-225
