dt140 efi 1999 over heat

I have a dt140...last year did the water pump thermostat ..ran fine all season....fired up in the driveway ran fine after 2 minutes water being pee'd was warm ... a few minutes later the water was steamin hot...took the thermostat out, stuck it in boiling water open up...did it a few tiem to make sure,worked everytime..If anyone can help it would be greatly appreciated...

check water pressure relief valve is not stuck open letting water bypass in stead of sending it to motor

Where is the Pressure Relief Valve located on a Zuke 140 2003.

the pressure relief is located on the port side below the oil pan.It is painted white and is triangular with two bolts holding it on.
