Default Can I mate a '97 DF15C powerhead to an '89 DT9.9C outboard?
I have a 1989 DT9.9C outboard with a blown powerhead. Can I mate a 1997 DF15C powerhead onto my current outboard. I am reasonably handy with y a wrench and don't really have the funds for a complete engine.

Never tried but I wouldn't think so thats going from 2 stroke engine to 4 stroke, completely different engine.
