Default DF140 impeller change

I replaced the impeller and the cluch shaft will not slip back in place unless I force it. Now the engine will not start and eventhough the batteries are full the engine just barely turns over.

Can you shift shaft on gearcase when gearcase is removed? Will the drive turn after installing impeller?

Never force the shaft back in you have something jammed .............check and make sure that you have it in neutral when sliding it all back in and remember grease is your friend .

have you got the rotation of the impeller right
